The painting entered the workshop so that it could be exhibited again. The yellowed varnish and darkened retouches distorted the overall aesthetic perception of the piece. In the process of conservation, the layer of varnish was thinned, inpaintings and retouches were removed. The painting has become brighter and more saturated, closer in its colours to its original form.
